“I grew up in New Zealand, and barbering has always been part of my life from day one. Starting at 13, I worked in my family’s businesses. My parents had dreams of me going to university, but after exploring different paths, I returned to what I love: barbering. I spent years managing shops in New Zealand, but three years ago, I moved to Melbourne. Two and a half years back, I opened Onlyfades Barbershop here in Altona, and it’s been an amazing journey.

From the start, I’ve wanted to create a place not just for great haircuts but a community. I’m passionate about giving opportunities to young barbers, offering them a positive path. The community in Altona has been incredibly supportive. I run promotions, like free haircuts, to give back when I can because I know how much small gestures can mean.

My goal is simple: work hard, keep everyone looking fresh, and ensure they leave with a smile. I’ve gotten to know people, their families, and even other local businesses. It’s a multicultural, respectful space where we share good vibes, music, and conversations. Coming from a hardworking family who started from the bottom, I’ve poured that same dedication into Onlyfades.
